To all of you, a very merry Christmas! For on this bright and joyfull night we’re glad to have you with us.

Christmas is finally here, or for us Nordic European countries, it just ended. Either way, you’re probably enjoying a well-deserved vacation from whatever you usually do. Sleeping till noon, consuming large quantities of food, and wasting away in front of your television. Or you’re like me, creating paper angels as decoration. Regardless it’s truly a joyful time, and despite any religious affiliation, quality time spent with family.

So on behalf of the entire Cucumber Religion, I wish all of you a very Kamgan Ukudigaa, Gozhqq Keshmish, 聖誕快樂 新年快樂, Sretan Božić, Glædelig jul, Maligayang pasko, Hyvää joulua, Joyeux Noël, Fröhliche Weihnachten, Καλά Χριστούγεννα, 新年おめでとうございます, Natale hilare, God jul, Feliz Navidad, and especially, QISmaS DatIvjaj ‘ej DIS chu’ DatIvjaj.

Happy Halloween all you faithful followers of the cucumber! I was going to change the layout of the site into a Halloween theme to surprise you all, but as it turns out I’m way to lazy for my own good. But lets not linger on my inadequacies and move on to the October festivities. With Halloween less than a week away, what better time is there to talk about the marvelous pumpkin?

Lots of new site updates today! The site is steadily moving forward. You can expect more content in the future, but now the priority is to make everything functioning the way we want it too and create a cooler theme for the site.

First of all, we’ve added a new comment system as the old one that comes with wordpress was lacking when it came to filtering out spam. Even with anti-spam plugins installed we got about 600 comments a day. Now that IntenseDebate is installed we’re hoping that will change. In addition, IntenseDebate has some nifty features such as being able to connect with facebook, twitter and openID.

Since IntenseDebate didn’t like the old theme that much, a little change in design was made, but don’t get too comfortable as this is subject to change in the near future.

Mario Party DS, developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, has finally been approved by the Coucil of Cucumber Kosher. It came to COCK’s attention that the handheld party game includes a minigame advertising for the cucumber whilst still remaining entertaining and educational.
